Optical Power Meter Calibration

We can calibrate your Fiber Optic Power Meters at two service price levels: ISO9001 or ISO/ IEC 17025 

  • We check the cleanliness of the optical detector. If we find a performance problem with the received instrument, we will let you know.
  • We test calibration accuracy. You can also ask for a linearity test.
  • We usually use a ceramic connector for calibration, ask if you want some other condition there.
  • We have NATA traceability for optical power meter calibration from 350 - 1650 nm 
  • We comply with the latest power meter calibration standards 
  • We calibrate thousands of optical power meters, so we are very experienced!



We can calibrate your free-space Optical Power Meter or Radiometer to ISO9001or ISO/ IEC 17025

  • We check the cleanliness of the optical detector. If we find a performance problem with the received instrument, we will let you know.
  • We test calibration accuracy. You can also ask for a linearity test.
  • We have NATA traceability for optical power meter calibration from 350 - 1650 nm
  • We have a HeNe laser for spot calibration at about 1 mW
  • We have a few lasers / LEDS for other discrete wavelengths
  • Or we can dial-a-wavelength at a low power level of about -30 dBm
  • We comply with the latest power meter calibration standards 
  • The sensor needs to be large enough to aim a free space beam into it, 3 mm dia or larger is good
