Overview

A shirt-pocket size Visual Fault locator ideal for testing all fiber optic systems. 0.6 mW / 635 nm is a Class 1 eye-safe laser device, even with no fiber connected. For short distance applications, 635 nm gives a brighter light than a typical 650 nm laser. The interchangeable connector is easily replaceable if it is damaged, and is less likely to cause damage to other mated connectors, since a mated connector cannot be accidentally rotated. So this is overall a safer and more reliable fiber optic VFL than a pen-style device.
